Wolf, Russell tie for 35th at State Golf Championships
Russellville’s Chandler Wolf and Jordan Russell finished the 2012 golf season Tuesday, May 15, at the Missouri State High School Activities Association Class 1 Golf Championships at Freemont Hill Golf Club in Nixa.


Hart finishes tied for 26th at State
Eldon’s Matt Hart wrapped up his high school golf career with a 26th-place finish at the Missouri State High School Activities Association Class 3 Golf Championships at Rivercut Golf Course Tuesday, May 15, in Springfield.

Eldon baseball season ends
Eldon managed just three hits Tuesday, May 15, in a season-ending 6-1 loss to the Marshall Owls in the semi-final round of the Class 3, District 9 Tournament at Osage.


Eldon sends 10 to sectionals
Eldon track Mustangs qualified for sections in a total of 10 events Saturday, May 12, at the Class 3, District 5 track meet, hosted by St. Francis Borgia High School in Washington.




Eagles, Rangers, Indians earn state track meet bids
A total of five area track and field members qualified for the Missouri State High School Activities Association Class 2 track and field championships with top four finishes Saturday, May 12, at the sectional meet in Centralia.

After day one of the MSHSAA Golf Championships
In the Class 3 tournament at Rivercut Golf course in Springfield, Eldon's Matt Hart fired a 79 to end the first round in a tie for 32nd. Fulton's Justin Vann, grandson of Howard and Betty Jo Vann of Eldon, is tied for 59th after shooting an 83.
In the Class 1 Tournament at Nixa, Russellville's Chandler Wolf is tied for 57th after shooting an opening round 92. Teammate Jordan Russell is in a tie for 78th after firing a 99.
