Nickels and Sense

I paid one dollar for the broken kaleidoscope at the flea market last weekend in Versailles. There was something about the object, missing one end cap and bereft of the multi-hued particles that once harnessed the sunlight, that induced me to pick it up. The next thing I knew, I was in my garage working with “found” material to restore the kaleidoscope to its former glory.
