    Request for Proposal
    INTENT -- It is the intent of the city of Iberia, Missouri to award a contract for the paving of certain roads and/or streets with asphalt materials.
    SCOPE OF WORK -- The contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment to prepare existing surface for paving. Preparation shall be as such that a smooth transition is obtained from the newly paved surface to existing pavements and at the end of pavement. Roadway to be cleaned, receive tack coat followed by 2\'94 depth asphalt pavement overlay. It is recommended that contractors visit the project sites to examine conditions and constraints prior to submitting a bid. The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and policies.
    PREPARATION OF THE PROPOSAL -- Proposals should provide a straight forward, concise description of the contractor's capabilities to satisfy the requirements of the request for proposal. Emphasis should be placed on completeness and clarity of the content. Dollar amounts to be by line item. Bids will be accepted from January 15, 2019 to February 1, 2019 at 4:30pm at Iberia City Hall. The bids shall be read at the City Council meeting following the bid closing. Paving shall begin within 90 days of being awarded contract.
