    Three Tipton Lady Cardinals earned a spot on All-District teams for the 2016-17 season after the Central Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association met on Wednesday, March 15. Brooklyn Pace, left, earned second team All-District, Abby Backes and Alyson Brant both earned first team.

    The Tipton Cardinals hosted South Callaway for the first match of the season on Monday, March 20 at the Tipton Country Club golf course.
    Big fish
    Kylee Gengler took advantage of the nice weather over the weekend to go snagging with her dad, Mike, uncle and cousin in Roscoe, Mo. on Sunday, March 19 on the Osage River. Gengler caught her first spoonbill, weighing over 50 pounds. She had snagged a second, but lost it right at the boat. (Photo submitted)

    Cardinals fall in double header games to start the season
    It’s that time of year. Cardinal baseball is here and in full swing, taking on a double header on Saturday, March 18 against Vienna and New Bloomfield on Wildcat’s field. Cardinals had a rough start to their season fallling 12-2 to both Vienna and New Bloomfield.
